The little brother of the world-famous Deutsches Museum in Munich offers exhibits from all scientific disciplines, covering "Research and Technology in Germany after 1945". The Arithmeum is a mathematics museum at the Institute for Discrete Mathematics of the University of Bonn. Based on the collection of its founder and director, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Bernhard Korte, it houses the world's most comprehensive collection of calculating machines, ranging from delicate mechanical machines from the baroque era to modern microchips.

The Haus der Geschichte exhibits objects that document contemporary history. With around 1 million visitors every year, it is one of the most popular museums in Germany. In addition to the permanent exhibition, where German history from 1945 is illuminated, there are several temporary exhibitions to be visited.

Just in time for the 250th birthday of this most famous son of the city of Bonn, the birth house of Ludwig van Beethoven has been renovated and its exhibition has been completely restructured. It is one of the most visited music museums worldwide and features a permanent exhibition, allowing the visitor to experience Beethoven in a modern, inspiring and exciting way.
